Search for Current Openings

We are always on the lookout for top talent. Search our current openings, and sort by area of interest and location to find where you’d be a great fit.

Submit your Application

Once you’ve found an opportunity that grabs your attention, register and apply through the link in the job description. You’ll be asked to upload a resume and cover letter as part of the process, so make sure those are ready.

The resume you upload will be saved, so you can use it to apply to another role or provide a new one for each application you fill out.

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your application is complete and submitted. Be sure to check your junk and spam folders if it doesn’t arrive in your inbox quickly. Gmail users may find the confirmation under the Promotions tab.

Note: Be sure to register with a valid email you check regularly. All of our initial contact with you will be to the email you provide.

Application Evaluation

Our Talent Acquisition team evaluates all applications against the abilities and skills that are set for the current openings.

We’ll process a soft credit check through SimpliVerified on candidates who are being considered for hire. This credit check will not impact your credit score, and serves to confirm your identity.

Phone Interview

A Talent Acquisition team member emails the top candidates to schedule an initial phone interview. Candidates being considered for next steps are often asked to complete some pre-employment testing.

Face-To-Face Interview

The top candidates from the phone interview stage will be referred to the hiring manager for the specific role. The hiring manager and their team choose who to invite for a face-to-face interview.

Employment Verification and Background Checks

An email goes out to finalists, asking for employment verification and authorization of a background check.

Job Offer

Once a final candidate is chosen, we will reach out with an offer that includes wages, start date, training and the process of your welcome to the Heartland Bank community.
