Bio
Brian started his career in the banking industry in 1999 as a retail banker for a local bank, working his way to branch manager and chief retail officer overseeing the retail side of the bank. Currently, Brian serves as a commercial lender for Heartland Bank where he enjoys helping local business owners meet their financial goals. For Brian, watching others succeed and knowing he played a small part in their success is why he loves what he does.
Brian earned his bachelor’s degree in business management from the University of Illinois in Springfield and received his master’s degree in organizational leadership from Lincoln Christian University. Brian is active in the community with the Knights of Columbus, as a member of the Decatur Rotary Club and as a volunteer at his daughter’s school.
A lifelong native of Decatur, Brian currently resides there with his two daughters, Hailey and Ady. In his spare time, Brian enjoys golfing throughout Central Illinois.
