Bio
Jonathan Hicks, vice president, brings almost 10 years of industry experience, having joined Heartland Bank in 2021. Jonathan finds joy in analyzing credit, developing trusted relationships with customers and colleagues, and offering proactive support for business growth. Additionally, he plays a role in delivering value and efficiency to commercial customers by collaborating with the bank's cash management and fraud protection specialists.
Jonathan earned a bachelor's degree from Lewis University, double majoring in finance and economics with a minor in international business. Later, he obtained his master's degree in finance, also from Lewis University. Actively involved in the community, Jonathan serves as his homeowner's association treasurer, Young Professionals chairperson at DuPagePads, Rotarian, and volunteers at a food bank. He mentors through Big Brothers Big Sisters, educates elementary students through Junior Achievement and volunteers with college students at Aurora University.
Originally from Bartlett, he resides in Plainfield with his wife, Toni, and cat, Lola. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, golfing and traveling.
