Bio
Karla Koehler, vice president, has over 30 years of experience in ag lending. She assists farmers with operating needs, equipment purchases and farmland acquisitions. Karla takes pride in helping young farmers secure Farm Service Agency Guaranteed Loans and Iowa Finance Authority Beginning Farmer Loans. Raised on a crop and livestock farm in eastern Iowa, Karla enjoys living and working in a rural community and engaging in discussions about the latest trends in agriculture.
Karla graduated with a bachelor's degree in agricultural business with a finance emphasis from Iowa State University. She actively participates in the community, serving on the Jones County Medical Services Advisory Council and as a member of the Jones County Dairy Promotion Committee. Karla's dedication to enhancing the economic development of Central City, Iowa, has been acknowledged with a Leadership Award from Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds and the Main Street Iowa program.
Karla resides in rural Monticello and enjoys attending sporting events with her husband and teenage daughters.
