Kim L. Larson has served as Senior Vice President and Wealth Management Director at Heartland Bank and Trust Company since 2012. He leads the Wealth Management Division that includes Asset Management and Trust Services, Agricultural Services, and HBT Investment Services. Kim also serves as the primary advisor on some of the most sophisticated Wealth Management relationships. He has over 25 years of banking and wealth management experience that includes senior management positions at community, regional, and money-center banks.
Kim holds an MBA with honors from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a B.S. in Business Administration (Finance) from San Francisco State University, and a diploma from the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Throughout his career, Kim has been active in his community, serving numerous not-for-profit organizations. He recently completed a six-year term on the board of directors of the United Way of McLean County and currently serves on their Finance and Administration Committee. Kim is a Finance Committee member and Immediate Past Treasurer of the Bloomington-Normal Sunrise Rotary Club where he is a Paul Harris fellow. Originally from Belvidere, IL, he received the 1999 Business-Education Partnership Award and was the co-recipient of the 2006 Distinguished Citizen Award from the Belvidere (IL) Chamber of Commerce.
