Bio
Landon Faivre, senior vice president, oversees relationship management and business development efforts for Heartland Bank and Trust Company’s northern region. He has nearly 25 years of experience as a commercial and agricultural banker in DeKalb County and is focused on establishing long-term relationships with customers. Raised on a Christmas tree and grain farm, he continues to work a portion of his own land to stay current on agricultural trends and markets. Landon sees himself not only as a lender, but as a trusted financial adviser with broad expertise to be a value-added resource for his customers.
Landon earned a bachelor’s degree in agribusiness, farm and financial management from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Northern Illinois University. Landon has served on many local boards and committees over the years, currently serving on the board of directors for Opportunity House and the DeKalb County Farm Bureau’s Foundation.
A DeKalb native, Landon currently resides in Sugar Grove with his wife, Colleen and two daughters, Ansley and Corinne. In his spare time, Landon enjoys biking, hiking and ATV riding. He also enjoys supporting the Chicago Blackhawks, Green Bay Packers, and University of Illinois sports teams.
