Matt Hunter is a seasoned wealth management adviser for Heartland Bank with a decade of industry experience. Matt's journey in finance has seen him serve as a mortgage lender and head of the trust department at various financial institutions. His passion for wealth management stems from his desire to empower individuals to take control of their financial destinies. Matt believes that financial security is the cornerstone of a fulfilling life, and he takes pride in making complex financial matters easy to grasp for everyone.
Matt earned his bachelor’s degree in sports management from Maranatha Baptist University and has since completed the Cannon Financial Institute’s Trust School. He is studying for the Certified Trust and Financial Adviser (CTFA) exam. Hunter is active in the community as treasurer for Pontiac Township High School District 90 and is also an assistant varsity basketball coach at Pontiac Township High School.
