Bio
Ryan Kastner, senior vice president and commercial lender for Chicago’s western suburbs, began his banking career in 1996, joining Heartland Bank in 2012. His primary focus has been the financing of commercial real estate properties, including ground-up construction for all property types. Ryan works closely with clients to build long-term relationships by understanding their business and proposing solutions tailored to their individual needs.
Ryan earned a bachelor's degree in finance from Bradley University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in financial systems and commercial real estate from DePaul University. Ryan is on the Marketing Committee for the Northern Illinois Homebuilders Association and is a current member of the Knights of Columbus – St. Katharine’s Parish.
Ryan, along with his wife, Kristin, and their son, Ethan, reside in Yorkville and enjoy spending time outdoors. In his free time, Ryan enjoys golfing, attending sporting events and supporting all Chicago sports teams.
