Bio
Thomas Kentner is a vice president and commercial lender for Heartland Bank’s southwest suburban lending team. He has over 15 years of experience in commercial lending, exclusively for community banks. He started his career in 2007 as a credit analyst. Thomas focuses his efforts on establishing long-term relationships by tailoring to each client’s specific financial need.
Thomas graduated from Northern Illinois University in 2007 where he earned a bachelor's degree in finance. He continued his education and obtained a Master of Business Administration from Northern Illinois University in 2015.
Thomas is active in the community, having served on several organizational boards throughout his professional career. He is currently on the board of the Will Grundy Medical Clinic and the Will County Center of Economic Development. He is also a member of the Silver Cross Hospital Community Trustees and the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors. Thomas enjoys spending time with his family and friends and playing golf.
