Your Community Bank
At Heartland Bank, our strength lies in the relationships that give meaning to our work.
At all times, we remain focused on what we do best: operating as a dependable community bank and delivering on our personal service commitment. This compassionate approach originated with M.B. Drake, who started the family banking tradition back in 1920.
M.B.’s son, George, purchased El Paso National Bank in 1964. George’s sons, Fred and Allen, continued the family banking tradition by leading the company through many years of growth. Since 1992, Fred has guided Heartland Bank through years of strong earnings and market expansion.
Now, as Executive Chairman of HBT Financial, Inc. (Heartland Bank’s parent company) and Heartland Bank, Fred continues to focus on leading overall strategy, seeking new opportunities, and promoting Heartland’s continued success.
Our Vision
Heartland Bank will be a true community bank, in terms of local management, top quality service, and products that meet the changing financial needs of customers who value a community bank relationship.
