Heartland Bank Announces Becky Mills as SVP Director of Marketing & Customer Experience

Heartland Bank and Trust Company proudly announces the hiring of Becky Mills as Senior Vice President / Director of Marketing & Customer Experience.
About Becky
In this role, she will be responsible for the Marketing and Corporate overall brand and Corporate Customer Experience (CX) functions of the organization. She will be involved in developing comprehensive marketing and communication strategies that will support the overall strategic objectives of the bank. She will also be involved in accelerating the CX initiatives to continue strengthening Heartland Bank’s position as a leading customer-focused organization. Her appointment will further strengthen the overall brand awareness and positioning of Heartland Bank in the Midwest markets. She will be reporting to Diane Lanier, EVP / Chief Retail Officer.
In her last assignment, Becky was the AVP Office of Marketing and Communication for Bradley University and was responsible to develop and deliver tactical marketing strategy focused on the institution’s brand awareness. She is a seasoned marketing professional with over 25 years of rich experience in B2C, B2B, and brand awareness. She is seasoned in the areas of organizational behavior, emotional intelligence, change management, strategic planning, and process improvement. She is also a Certified Professional Coach (CPC).
Becky is native from Peoria and is a passionate supporter of local organizations. She is a current board member of the Community Foundation of Central Illinois (CFCI) and serves on the board as secretary for Rotary Club of Peoria - North, and in the past served as board member and marketing committee chair for the Salvation Army. She resides in Washington and attends Crossroads United Methodist Church. Becky was born, raised, and lives in the Peoria community with daughters Ashley and Alyssa, and grandson Simon.
