Jason Gibson Joins Heartland Bank as Assistant Vice President - Commercial Lender

Heartland Bank and Trust Company announces the hiring of Jason Gibson as a Assistant Vice President - Commercial Lender. Gibson, who has 16 years of experience in the banking and lending industry has worked in collections, special assets, consumer lending, mortgage banking and more, will be located at Heartland Bank’s Springfield branch at 3601 Wabash Avenue.
About Jason
Gibson holds an Associate’s Degree in Criminal Justice, has received additional training from the CBAI Commercial Lending Institute, and is a graduate of the Capital Area Realtors Leadership Academy.
He has been recognized as a Springfield Business Journal’s Forty under 40 for the Class of 2022, Best of the Capital winner in the category of “best for a home mortgage” in 2021 and was a Five-Star Mortgage Professional Award Winner for 2021.
Gibson is active in the community with the Chatham Chamber of Commerce, Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce, is the Director of Communications and Marketing for Chatham Baseball and Softball Inc. and is an assistant coach for Chatham Baseball.
Originally from Pana, Illinois, Gibson currently makes his home in Chatham with his wife and their four children.
